Dave's Film

Hi all this is Maruna again :)

Through out the year I decided to help out with a bit of my friend Dave's film as well. It's a cool short film about a lone wolf traveling through the desert and helping out this little kid wolf.

It's a 2D film and I'm helping out with a bit of the layout when the Wolf is walking through the desert.

I like how the design are working out, thanks to Ling who helped me heaps with the texturing of the cliff face. I rather like the deep blue colour of the sky even though in the desert it's probably a more lighter blue.
I'm trying to play around with the designs of the clouds a bit as well, I like the thick solid clouds even though deserts probably won't have clouds like that.

Sorry Dave I know I'm taking long but I'll try and finish the other layouts ASAP!

Miracle Weaver

Hi again :)

Miracle Weaver is the project I'm working on at uni with my friends Makochan, Gem and Marisa.
It's a feature film idea so we're only making a trailer but it'll be awseome when it's done.

It's about this 14 year old girl called Page going to "Babel Corp" to complain to the 5 Gods of Love, Widom, Happiness Power and Death about the injustce and inequality of the world.

It's going to be a 3D film, hence I'm helping out mainly in the concept and texturing.

This lady to the left is my design of the Goddess of Power, her name is Nina. We wanted all the Gods to have their virtues twisted in a modern kind of way. Hence Nina is a power hungry feminst who thinks Victory can always be won by money.

The image to the right is just a concept for "Babel Corp" a huge building towering over the city.

I have a lot more artworks for this film but I'll update it more once they are a bit more finalized.

Starting a Blog

Nice to meet you I'm Maruna a 2D animator from Australia.

This is my first ever blog and I would like to put up some of my own artworks and concepts for my animations for your viewing.

It'll be great if you can give me some of your opinions , comments or any criticisms. I'm open for complements as well :)
